Helpful Tips
Doing some "homework" before your appointment will help ensure that you and Dr. Gauthier have the information ready to select and schedule the dental treatments you need and the additional services you desire.  Being a fully-informed patient can also help alleviate any unnecessary anxiety you may be feeling.  In additon to completing the forms listed above, this is the "homework" we recommend:

  • Take some time to familiarize yourself with your dentist and rest of us by reviewing our Staff page.
  • Visit our Patient Education page, especially if you have any symptoms or want to to learn about a specific restorative or cosmetic procedure.
  • If you have dental insurance, be sure to familiarize yourself with its features, including the co-pays, deductables and approval processes.
  • If you have dental insurance, be sure to bring your insurance card or other proof of coverage with you to each visit.
  • If you do not have dental insurance, check the Appointment Request page to see if any special pricing is available and also check our Office page for information about CareCredit financing.

What To Expect
Your initial oral exam will include a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, discussion of symptoms and review of treatment needs and options.  A full-mouth series of dental x-rays will also be taken.  These x-rays are necessary for proper diagnosis.
